Daily Painting
61Musing Over the Ideas that come During Sleep.
- There are times when I sleep and then suddenly wake up with a color idea that I should have used in my work or one I need to use in incomplete work but I am in bed I put away all the brushes and knives and paints for that matter. Daily painting drives the mind to unimaginable places. What do I do in such cases? I am not a words writer with a not book by the beside that I will note down this idea and add it into my work when I next get down to it?
- There are times that ideas appear to me when a am in town or away far away from my paintings but ideas I would have liked to incorporate in my pictures and these ideas later fade due to non promiximity fromt the painting I would have like to use them on...
- There are times when I sit at an easel but no idea comes to me by way of painting and I do not do anything at all is this a "block in my creative juices how can I cure them fast enough that they do not become a part of me for I love this creativity , this painting activity and the lull it has over me?
- Where do people go when they find that they have ideas overflow and want to produce all these paintings at once inthe same space of time they have but are engaged in a piece at tthat particular moment; how do they store the other idea that a overfilling the brain at any one time?
- Friends and fellow artists sometimes come round and give you ideas about a work you are engaged in but you have your own flow and are going on well without addition fro tanother supplier how do you explain this to the suggestions at hand? Television adverts and music out anywhere present or past some times inspires me to go on a painting journey which I appreciate but get rattled by those who give unsought out ideas. Are these types of resources all inspirations?
- Sketch pads sometimes bring an inspiration and I start working but as the work progresses what I had on the sketch pad turns int something totally different do I then kick myself in the foot for this having happened? Should I have controlled the outcome of the end result of the art piece?
- More musings and more musings,... paintings are done and signed and I consider them complete only to get a touch idea that end up being complete change of idea of the originally signed piece into a new piece of work altogether does this mean the one I made earlier was never meant to and should be considered a dead or block period when I worked on it then?
- There are times when I get up and make a single picture and then keep it away completely and also only to later cut the canvas into two and find that I like the piece better as two more than one but I am so sure that I would not have produced them as two paintings at the outset....
- There are days when I feel like workng on landscapes, other days I feel like working on still life paintings other times I do not want any of them and just do a single figure. Does not having a single signature work interest reflect on me in a "jack of all trades" manner. There are times when ethnicity seems to me as a lull and I want to present a clear and simple landscape is that in error?
- Is branding helpful to an artist or is it helpful to the neo- global marketing trends?
Artist Well Appreciated...
