I believe, I can, I am...
Most of our yearning and feelings of discrimination spring from learning to put ourselves down for any real or imagined errors. Because we believe certain things about ourselves and compare ourselves to others we develop negativity towards ourselves. By using positive affirmations we can change that negative self-talk into something more pleasant and accept ourselves more.
It's unreasonable to expect instant effect from affirmations, but if we stick to it, believe it with selflessness, then shifts in outlook and expectations start to happen. It is a self-help technique and is usually effective. It is the simply repeating a positive phrase in front of the mirror, in the car, or writing it on paper. Whenever slipping into thinking something unwanted, "change that thought" to be a “wanted” one.
We use affirmations to build our self-esteem, increase positive aspects of our self-image, and become more secure within ourselves. We use affirmations to get rid of anxiety, anger, or depression and to relieve stress. We can also use them to control our fear, and instill courage. With affirmations we re-align our sub-conscious mind into creating states of desire by creating positive experiences.
It is quoted that “An idle mind is the devil’s workshop.” In some instances we may see alienation or discrimination where there is none and one or two self –questioning and self generated therapies will do wonderfully to erase belittling and imagined discrimination thoughts. Affirmations made with sentences beginning with – I believe, I can, I am – when used regularly enhance one’s experience of freedom and rights deserved of all of us.
We may subconsciously get consumed by things imagined, rather than things that are important; put demands and accountabilities that are opposed to what you really matters… we may be selling ourselves short, we maybe trying too hard to please… and we maybe expecting way too much out of life… simply re- assessing and finding more fulfilling options will make us realize what is worthy and actively pursue that achieving satisfaction to our surprise!
· I am accepted with my color, my age, my descent.
· I live and therefore have a right to life.
· I am managing and directing my path and freedom to live.
· I feel my divine connection to everyone and everything.
· Everything I seek is seeking me now.
· I am complete; other’s opinions are just their opinions.
· I know animosity and ferocity is too minor to shadow the right and freedom for life
· I am totally aware that smoke screens of negative discrimination clear out ultimately and human rights and freedom prevails
· I am as equal as the next person to receive services and assistance that is meant for all and everyone of us.
· I choose to experience things that will reveal my true Life Purpose.
· I am now acting upon my Life Purpose with joy and passion.
· I am now free to do the things I love the way I love them.

If you do not believe them... they are useless
Positive affirmations after alienation means that you are allowing good thoughts into your mind - words, images and perceptions, which are suitable for personal growth and prosperity. Many affirmations are beautiful, indeed, they are quite extraordinary! However, if you do not believe them, they are useless or even counterproductive.
An affirmation you do not believe, will not make you believe it. Actually, the repetition can build up greater resistance to believing it.

My grandmother is a great believer of positive affirmations and she tries to teach them to everyone around her.
The one I like the best is the one she taught me when I was still a young girl "I am a beautiful woman, I deserve to be loved, I deserve to be respected" A simple "mantra", yet full of power.
